Lucky was a tuxedo cat and actually the most lucky for us and lived to be 13-years old.  He  was always the most loving and perfect friend for us in all ways.  Spunky, loving, alert, & also most beautiful, he was always up for a game of string or chase the sock or any other way available to make life more fun, challenging, and interesting.  A wonderful hunter when younger, he chased many mice and was skillfull, precise, and most accomplished (in all those "natural hunter" types of ways . . .).

As he got older he loved to groove in the sun outside and just enjoy the warm part of the afternoon.  This last summer you could find him in one of the lounge chairs (with cushions) in our back yard.  Or you could find him sitting on top of the hot tub cover right under the big tree just sunning and smiling (yes he really did smile at times), just watching the world go by.

He got suddenly sick in Jan. 2007 (nose infected) and when we took him to the vet, there were already other multiple health problems that we were not aware of.  Through it all he was his bright, alert, noble, and his very own original "in the groove" self . . . as always.  (What we learn from the animals is beyond words, beyond measure, and truly pierces the heart.)

We love you Lucky and thank you for your most beautiful being you generously shared with us, and know that you live in our hearts in love, laughter, and *luck* always.   Beautiful heart, our most beautiful boy.
