This medallion contains the traditional six syllable mantra for the elimination of suffering and the causes of suffering. Each syllable helps accomplish one of the six perfections:
MA is the perfection of morality
NI is the perfection of patience
PHAT is the perfection of diligence
ME is the perfection of meditation
HUNG: is the perfection of wisdom
